Our friends at Wella Professionals stepped up to DKNY’s task of manifesting a modern hybrid of the Eighties and Nineties with hair design that borrowed from iconic urban youth culture – think zig zag parting, braids and the humble pony tail – uh-huh, thas’ right.

“I wanted to create a look that celebrated radical diversity and had a slightly ‘old school’ feel to it … something strong that had a definite point of view,” said Wella Professionals Creative Director, Eugene Souleiman.
