Lighthouse Foundation’s vision is to end youth homelessness, together, and achieve this by supporting homeless young people to take their rightful place in the community. The foundation provides them not just with a home, but with a family and a therapeutic model of care that is individually tailored and proven to work. Through their Lighthouse experience, young people can heal, learn again to relate to others and start to rebuild their lives.

With ten homes across Melbourne, each equipped with four young people, two live-in carers and a dedicated team of psychologists and health professionals, the foundation puts any charitable donation to good use in the transformation of young lives.

Anaka will donate $2.00 from every haircut during the month of December in conjunction with an in-salon Christmas Giving Tree where staff and clients are welcome to purchase a gift to be distributed to Lighthouse Foundation members.

“We are proud to be supporting such a great cause and to share the love over the Christmas period to those less fortunate,” said Anaka owner and Artist Director, Anna Ntalianis.

Further to these efforts, Anaka will run an in-store fundraiser to boost funds for the cause. Clients and members of the Malvern community are invited to purchase raffle tickets (1 for $5.00 or 3 for $10.00) and enter the draw to win one of six great prizes.

1^st Prize:

Personal Hair and Makeup Styling event customised for you and three friends and held upstairs in Anaka’s affluent beauty boutique, the Cinnamon Lounge. Including champagne and canapés, guests can look forward to one-on-one hair and makeup tips and transformations with Anaka’s leaders in hair styling and makeup direction, Anna and Dora Ntalianis.
